We exhibited at Hong Kong Food Expo PRO 2025

About the show

We exhibited at Food Expo Pro 2025, held in Hong Kong from 14 to 16 August 2025. It is a B2B food trade fair, with the final day open to the public. A weather warning cancelled the first morning, but the hall opened in the afternoon as planned and was busy throughout.

The reception

A large opening reception with the Consul-General and several ambassadors had been planned; the weather turned it into a simple ribbon-cutting instead. Afterwards a number of those guests came to our booth, which gave us a chance to talk directly.

The show was also covered by more than ten outlets, including major local media and key opinion leaders on social platforms.

At the booth

We ran a lucky draw to get people moving through the booth and to give us a reason to explain the products properly. It turned a static display into something people took part in.

What we took away

Greater China, with Hong Kong at its centre, is a region where Japanese food culture is already well understood. We came away with a lot of starting points with local buyers and distributors. On the floor we spoke English and Chinese with visitors from many countries.
