02 We pass on the story, not just the tea
In a meeting we talk about the region before we talk about the matcha. What the land is like, who grew it, how they think about their work. Once that lands, buyers choose on what is inside, not on price. Getting a grower to that point is our job.
03 So you can grow it again next year
Why it sold, why it did not, we bring both back from the meetings. Which country, which kind of buyer, how it went down. Knowing that changes what you grow next season. Tea that can still be grown next year, and the year after. Only then have we really built a market for it.
