Six months of our internship programme, with 30 interns on the team
We began taking on interns in April 2026, and six months have now passed. Thirty interns are with us today.

Taking on meetings step by step
Our interns are not here to prepare slides or enter data. They start by approaching buyers abroad, and once they find their feet they carry their own customers, through the quote to the order itself. By then the people on the other side are buyers and owners of companies overseas.
A member of staff or an intern team lead sits in on the first meetings and gives feedback on the spot. No sales experience is needed to start.

Different countries, different languages
Our people come from more than ten countries. We work in Japanese internally, but in meetings you will hear English alongside Chinese or Vietnamese.
Two interns came with us to the Philippines in October. They moved into whichever language suited the person in front of them and carried the meetings through without an interpreter.

Going to the farms as well
About once a month we bring buyers from abroad to tea farms in Japan. Interns who want to come along see the fields and the processing plants for themselves, and talk to the buyers directly. You cannot sell something well without knowing how it is made.
We are still hiring
As the business grows we are continuing to take on interns for global sales. Our openings, including full-time roles, are listed on our careers page.
